Caupolicán

CAUPOLICÁN In this series I worked as the interpreter of a score written by the sculptor Nicanor Plaza. «At the bottom of the well of history, like a more sonorous and brilliant water, shine the eyes of dead poets». «The thread of sculpture is never cut», and celebrating the contributions of the post-statuary period I affirm that today's sculpture, a hundred years later, would not exist without the work and teaching of the academic masters. It was a journey into the «well of history» in search of the specific wisdom, manual and intellectual, of sculptural language.
